A normal part of life

It is normal to feel anxious about meeting deadlines at work or meeting someone on a blind date or about finishing that history paper which could make or break your G.P.A. Apprehension helps us to anticipate danger or a difficult situation as it is the outcome of our natural “flight or fight” response to events and stimuli. This process is controlled by stress hormones which allow us to act or run away in dangerous and stressful situations.
